Occupying an area of 6 square kilometers, the historic core of Riyadh has, over the years, become a virtual “backyard” of the City; businesses have moved away and the middle-class have abandoned it for safer and modern housing alternatives.

The project involved preparation of a concept redevelopment plan for this historic core of Riyadh. The Vision was to create a commercially viable, landmark, mixed-use district that will be the New Center of Riyadh celebrating the heritage of the Governate.
